Holy cow...Oct

I just realized how long it has been between posts. And you wonder what have I been up to. I have been knitting mini socks. Love them and they knit up fast. I am also test knitting which is really cool. Let me share some pictures of some of the socks.
This is now a pattern to be bought through ravelry. Meagheen Ryan is the pattern maker.

I have also signed up for the sock mini wars which will start soon.

And I am also working on halloween stuff for the teachers. I will share those projects as they are completed. Hopefully I will be posting more frequently.

What have you been up to?

I can't believe that it is already the beginning of March. I watched and enjoyed the olympics so much this year. Not sure why? During the olympics I had joined the ravelry olympics. I had signed up to complete three projects. Did I finish my projects? I certainly did and I even amazed myself. I finished a baby sweater, a pair of olympic mittens and baby booties(moccasins). I proved to myself that I can accomplish what I want to do.

I am also doing the Club Scrap PSL(Pro Scrapbooking League). Every week there is a new challenge and you have to do layouts. I am amazed again at how many layouts that I have completed.

So, what have you been up to?

Happy day after Valentine's day!

So with all of the snow that we have had in the past week we had to improvise and make things for teachers and our bus driver. So, here is what I made for the teachers.

And then for the boys bus driver I made the birdhouse from Magnolia Ink magazine. I think that it came out very cute!!!

This is the front of the birdhouse. I cut out hearts and then pasted them together to make them look like flowers.

And this is the side of the house with the magnolia devil stamp. Thanks for looking and I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

What's next?

I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to make curtains. Well I made two pair of curtains for Andrew's bedroom. Trying to get his bedroom to look a little more older and not so babyish. It definitely makes the room look different. I will get pictures and post them online.

Final season game of flag football and we are in first place. Congratulations Scorpions! Playoffs next week. Scorpions are going to the super bowl!!!

It's a conspiracy!!

I had on my craft table 2...yes 2 almost finished mini accordian file folders for the magnolicious highlites challenge. So, the cat likes to sit on the table and pushes things off of the table. And the puppy likes to chew things. So, I come home from work and find little bits and pieces of chewed accordian file all over the floor. Is that a conspiracy or what? I'm not to finish this project...hmmm...we shall see who prevails...me or the critters. Who do you think will win?

Creativity dead zone

I have hit a wall...figurativitely. I have had no creative gumption in quite awhile. I have magnolias sitting on my craft table wanting to come out and play and I just don't know what to do with them. I have copic markers wanting to color. I have plenty of other stamps that want to be inked and I have no gumption. Hopefully this will pass quickly because I have a line of cards that need to be made.

Onto other news...the blog candy has been sent out to Marie. So, she should be getting it soon.

And about a month ago we adopted a new puppy. She is norwegian elk hound mix. And she is just about as cute as can be. She was spayed last week and is doing very well. My dh says that she is "spoiled" and a "diva." I told him that she can't be a true diva unless she has bling on her collar, which at this time she doesn't. And she isn't truly spoiled unless she starts getting her own happy meal when we go through the drive thru at a fast food restaurant. Yes, she does go in the car with us and she does very well. She is all black except for a white spot on her chest and a couple of white spots on her paws. Pictures will follow soon.

enough of my ramblings I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend. And if anyone is looking for me look on facebook.

Happy easter and we have a winner

I hope that everyone had a very happy easter. Ours was very nice. I got to see my parents and my husbands mom, sister, and brother. We ate to much and got to spend a very nice day together. The kids of course made out like "bandits". LOL

And now to announce a blog candy winner. Congratulations go out to Marie Donnelly.
Marie if you will email me with your snail mail address I will get out the candy to you. Thank you for all that participated. My mom brought some of the cards that she received from you and they are beautiful. and it definitely has lifted her spirits.
